We have been living with sled-dogs since early 1960’s
The whole family is involved in Kennel Najanin, Svein-Tore, Hege, Catrine and Tonje. We breed, show and race Alaskan Malamutes, Greenland dogs and Siberian Huskies. In addition we are also the proud owners of several Alaskan huskies.
To maintain the breed characteristics is just as important as speed and endurance. Our challenge is to breed dogs with all these qualities to ensure that these breeds are not only good looking, but also perfect working dogs, also in the future.
Puppies available on occasion.
In 1984 Svein-Tore Bøe finished as number one in the Polar dog race. He won with the malamutes Gripp, Bumper and Sumak. This is an important goal for our kennel: To finish in long races and compete with different breeds. Our malamutes won many and long races in the 80’s and 90’s. Especially we want to mention the Finnmarksløpet where Bumper and Nuna finished with style!
We are now back in the track with our sled dogs. We can’t wait until our young malamutes are old enough for the competitions.
Svein Tore is today active mushing his alaska huskies and malamutes.
